As a commonwealth-registered marriage celebrant, it is my pleasure and my duty to conduct your ceremony in accordance with your wishes, and with the legal requirements of the Marriage Act and Code of Practice.
I love spending time getting to know you as a couple and creating the perfect ceremony that reflects you. Generally that takes a couple of meetings face to face, a couple of phone call to refine the ceremony once i have written it and a rehearsal to iron out any bumps!
Whether you wish to elope -to get married in your backyard, a short legals-only ceremony at home over the coffee table, or with a couple of friends on the South Perth Foreshore , to get married at the beach , under a beautiful tree, in Kings park, or on a boat ,in a lovely old hall,..I Love to Travel!
I am more than happy to change and personalize the below suggestions. I also can book a lovely room at House of Vows in West Leederville close to Lake Monger if you are wanting a beautifully styled venue for your legal ceremony.
Legal weddings/ Elopements/ mini ceremonies
This is an intimate ceremony, at the location of your choice - It could be a Hindu Temple, the Riverfront, your backyard or in a lovely room in West Leederville. A small guest list ( up to 10 people) , and the signing of the legal paperwork.
We will need to meet ( online or face to face) to complete your Notice of Intent to Marry, a minimum of one Calander month before your wedding date and talk to design your mini ceremony.
Although it is just a short Legal proceeding I am happy to do the ceremony where you would like or can book a lovely venue in West Leederville and include a few ceremonial elements if you wish, i.e candles, smudging (homemade smudgesticks of eucalyptus, rosemary, sage) or play the singing bowl.
On the day of the wedding, I will facilitate the marriage, we sign the legal paperwork and I will deliver to BDM the next day.
This marriage service is also perfect for weddings where you want a friend or family to deliver the ceremony for couples but need an authorized celebrant for the legal's.
You can still celebrate afterwards with a big party with friends or a cuppa in the lounge but it doesn't have to involve the stress of a big wedding.
Capacity: The couple getting married & two witnesses and a few friends if desired.

I will walk with you every step of the way and help you create, script and conduct your perfect love story wedding- Optional extras a smudging ceremony, Handfasting
( you provide cloth/ ribbons), symbols, readings and inclusions.

Obligation-free Face-to-face or Zoom initial meeting in location of your choice or zoom/ chat online if in the country-side or over an hour from Perth.

Go through in that meeting what is requirements of me as a Celebrant-The legal paperwork and the basics of how we will create your ceremony.

The second meeting- Two hour - Full client interview- Sign NOIM.

From that meeting I will create your be -spoke in depth ceremony.

Sometimes a second meeting is needed or from them we can talk on phone - usually a couple of calls to refine ceremony once its created!

Angie Roe and I went to UWA together back in the early 90's. In the past few years we have reconnected and realized we both work with weddings! Angie's photography is just stunning. Check her website below for more. With her basic package starting at $1845 our Celebrant and Photographer package for 3 hour coverage, wedding and reception in one location is $2845.

I've added a snippet of the legal forms you will need to get married. The full link to the forms is here. I will provide you with the forms you need when we meet or can can download them and bring to me already filled in. I can sign and witness as an authorized celebrant.
Notice of Intended Marriage
This form needs to be provided to the Celebrant no later than one month and no earlier than 18 months before the ceremony.
Form 15 Certificate for Couple
The pretty copy for the couple. All Certificates of Marriage must be signed by Celebrant, both parties and two witnesses.
No legal impediment to Marriage
This document must be signed as close to the ceremony as possible and information from NOIM will be transferred across
Record of Use Form
This is the document i fill in as the Celebrant and need to keep securely for 6 years post the Wedding.
Official Certificate of Marriage
There are 3 of these, one is sent to Births Deaths and Marriages after the Ceremony with the No legal impediment and NOIM, i keep one copy and you and your partner keep the pretty one!
